Health Communications Campaign
(January 2020 – May 2020).
Health Communications Campaign: Students will learn and apply strategic communication approaches to health-related issues. Students will research, plan, and develop a health communication campaign strategy based on a workplace need, personal passion, or the desire for thought leadership on a given health topic. This course is aimed to develop a strategic mission and vision for topic as well as to develop goals and objectives to achieve, and design KPIs for the campaign. Students will select target audiences through the development of personas and research key messages to be directed toward these audiences. A corresponding content strategy will be designed for a mix of digital media, and an evaluation plan will be laid out to reflect on the degree of success achieved and plan for improvement in the future.
